She is survived by her husband Herb, daughter Lorie (Doug) Eidse, sons Garth and Richard, and grandson Soren Eidse. She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Selma Friesen. Irma was born on a farm in Griswold, MB. She spent her school years in North Kildonan. In 1967 she met her future husband Herb at a dance in the German Club in Winnipeg. A year later they were married and had a wonderful life together for 48 years. Irma was a fantastic cook and her family enjoyed the Sunday spreads she put her heart into. Her favourite morning ritual was having coffee and reading recipes. Irma had a great sense of humour and could always make us laugh! She worked many years for Crosstown and Morris Credit Unions and for the RM of Morris. Irma and Herb loved volunteering at curling bonspiels in Morris, and enjoyed traveling and spending time with all their special friends. Cremation has taken place, the family welcomes anyone who knew Irma to attend a celebration of her life, Saturday, June 11 at the Morris Legion from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. "GOOD NIGHT SWEET IRMA...AND FLIGHTS OF ANGELS SING THEE TO THY REST!"
